Il Vertice  depicts a journey to plant a flag on the top of Monte Polveracchio in the Picentini range of Southern Italy. The Flag Of The Mountain Peoples was designed in collaboration with Colin Sackett. The subtitled text is created from diaries of travels in the mountains that began during the Viso Come Territorio residency curated by Fondazione Aurelio Petroni (FAP) in 2012. The sound derives from unprocessed recordings made during our explorations. The film is the introduction to a trilogy called “Dark Mountains”.
